Part of Love Relationship in a Family is a Child Safety

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

A family is a social unit living together and closely related by blood. Every family is considered a family if it is composed of parents – the mother and the father – and their children. And to have a solid bonding between each member of the family, there must be a strong foundation – a pure and unconditional love.

As they say, part of the love relationship in a family is a child safety. This just denotes the incomparable joy and pain of being a mom and dad whenever something happens to their child. From the time the mother gave birth to her first kid, an unconditional happiness is already by both parents. On the other hand, if something bad happens to their kid or if the child is sick, sudden pain strikes in every parent’s heart. This is just part of the love relationship between the parents and their children.

It really doesn’t matter how many children parents do have. The happiness it brings to have a children as a result of their love for one another gives them contentment. And even if they were blessed with just one child, it is already a known fact that child safety is still a valuable factor in raising their only daughter or only son. Whatever happens, it is the responsibility or obligation of parents to make sure that their kid is safe. It’s because every kid is every parent’s life. So when the children are safe, parents will also feel the same.

Children safety is the act of supervising your children from 0 to 18 years of age. Yes, it doesn’t mean that parents’ only responsibility will involve only their newly born baby, toddlers and the adolescents. Teenagers also need their parent’s guidance especially that this is the stage between the onset of puberty and maturity. Meaning, parents still have to guide them to avoid their child from being rebellious and to keep them on the right path.Indeed, love is a huge foundation in every child safety. When kids start to feel how much their parents love them, they will not only be proud to belong in that family. They will also learn how to appreciate the love they get from their parents and in turn, they can pass this love to the people surrounding them.

Aside from the love, security is also a big part of every child safety. Security that involves not only the physical aspect but also the emotional part. Every child wants to be free from danger or injury. This is like the feeling that you’re at home. Feeling at home means you’re away from harm, you can freely do whatever you want, say whatever you want to say and do everything while having fun. The feeling of contentment and enjoyment succumb your entire personality. This is also what makes a child safe.

Being a responsible parent will not only make your child safe. They will also cherish the love that you’re giving them. So make sure you fulfill your dreams by making your child safe at all times. This way, you’ll not only become a proud parent, your child will also become proud of you. To top it all, the love relationship in each family member will bloom and you’ll have a model family that each among us is always dreaming of.

Child safety

If you have children, then you know how important it is to keep them from inadvertently doing things that may harm them. Children are highly playful and don’t fully understand the trouble and harm that can happen while playing. This makes it important to implement measures that ensures their safety wherever they go and whatever they do.

Of the many measures you will need to take to ensure safety for your child, implementing childproof measures in your home is one of the most important requirements.

As you all know that the population is increasing day by day , so it’s no wonder that health hazards exist. Two big ones that affect your little city dweller are ozone and pollution.

To protect your family from ozone, watch the news for ozone warnings. Usually, the danger time is from 1 to 5 p.m. so keep outside playtime in the morning and evening. Also watch for air pollution warnings and avoid outside play during danger times. You must also keep watch on the indoor air pollution. Try to keep the apartment ventilated and clean any window A/C units. Don’t smoke, and if your child has allergies, use a vacuum with a filter.

One big danger on the subway or bus is the presence of germs. Babies and toddlers love to touch everything, so try to keep them restrained and invest in some hand sanitizer. In case the train or bus makes a sudden stop, make sure your toddler is firmly seated at all times. If no seats are available, hold them as securely as you can, but usually people give up seats if they see you with children. As for taxis, be sure to bring something like a car seat or travel vest to strap in your little one. If you’ve ever ridden in a taxi, you understand how dangerous it can be for an infant or toddler. Also beware of intersections while walking as they are the most common place for tragic accidents.

Install smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors in your home so that you are instantly informed in the event of a fire or a leak of carbon monoxide.

Make use of netting in your windows, balconies, landing and decks as they can catch you child and prevent a situation of serious falling. Homes in Orange County usually have balconies or desks so this is a very important application that can save a serious injury.

As i said kids are very playful and most of the injuries happens during there play only ,so

Its very important that the play equipments products should have child safety measures

And you should also inspect the play equipment of the kids like the playing equipment should not have the rust on it and the playing equipments should not have the sharp edges so that the kid may get cut on there body, A guardian should always be supervised. While the kids were playing in the playground because the kids are so unpredictable they will do whatever they want to do like eat mud, lie on the ground etc

Most importantly teach them about things they need to keep away from for their own safety so that they are aware of what to do and what not to do.

Child Safety- Does Your Dog Have More Identification Than Your Child?

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Take a moment and think about it. When you consider the fact that, as adults, we would never consider leaving the house without our id. We spend thousands on home and car alarms, we are even protecting our family pets with microchips; however, our most cherished possessions, our children, leave home without any identification.

Her are some questions:

Have you taken the time to record your child’s fingerprints, gather a hair sample for DNA purposes, record all his/her specific identification, including specific identifying features and a photograph of your child in a Child ID kit? If so, is it up to date?

In the event of a motor vehicle accident, in which you have been rendered unconscious, do the emergency medical professionals have a quick way of accessing your child’s specific medical history, including your child’s blood type, medical provider, allergies, any medications they may be taking at the time, or, even your family’s doctor’s name and phone number?

If you were on vacation with your children and they became lost or separated from you, or worse, arrived at a hospital, unconscious, as a John Doe, how or who would notify you and how would they know to do so?

Do you or your husband, for that matter; carry your child’s specific identification, this should include an up to date picture?

Do you, as responsible parents, take the time to talk with your children about child safety?

If you became separated from your child in a crowd, would someone be able to contact you directly, or even know who your child was?

If your answer was no or I don’t know, don’t worry, you are not alone. The sad fact of the matter is that children do not carry identification; if they did they would likely loose it!

Given today’s world, it’s becoming a necessity for children to carry identification. This fact was clearly illustrated through recent tragic natural disasters such as the tsunami, hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Pakistan. With each of these disasters, we’ve witnessed far too many unidentified children.

When thinking of child identification, often, fingerprints and hair samples are the first things that enter our mind. There are far too many companies that profess to provide your child with identification.Let me inform you that 99.9% of those companies are passive in nature.

Fingerprints, DNA information, pictures and even dental records will and are only ever used after the fact. Passive information. Think of it as locking the barn after the horse gets away. It’s unfortunate that as parents, we feel that we have done all possible to protect our children by having recorded this information. This is the first step, and a very important step in the safety of your child; however, as a parent, the only time you ever want to look at your child’s identification kit is and should be when you update it. This is a very important step towards safeguarding against the unthinkable. Few people are aware that children’s fingerprints are actually changing for the first 4-5 years of their life; therefore, it is imperative that this information be updated at least once a year, and every 6 months for the first three years of a child’s life.

When looking for a child identification provider, keep in mind the old adage ” An once of prevention far outweighs a pound of cure”. If all the company provides you with are a fingerprint kit, keep looking! One such proactive provider of child safety and identification is Child ID Labels inc.

The purpose of this article is not to alarm you but to inform you, as we are all aware, information is a powerful tool. If, in reading this, you took a moment to think about your child’s safety, please email this article to as many people as you know and encourage them to do the same. Your children are, after all, your most valuable possessions as well as our future.
